A small amount of\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ethatch\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003ecan be healthy for your lawn, but anything over half an inch needs to be removed as it prevents the\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ehealthy growth process\u003c\/strong\u003e.
