John Kennedy Retires After 23 Years at Allett

A sad day at Allett today as John Kennedy retires after 23 years service to Allett Mowers/ TurfMech. John joined Allett in 1998 after leaving the RAF and has seen a lot of changes at Allett including a factory move. John spent the first part of his Allett career up in the clouds on the fourth floor at Hangar 5 and one memory of him involved doing his knee in ( on the top floor) which resulted in him having to be carried down 8 sets of stairs (or there about's) on a chair by the Allett engineering team- they made it it one piece!

John has been the face of the Parts Department for the last 23 years priding himself on turning around parts to our end users within a day or two at most.
His no nonsense Scottish banter has been a constant throughout the last 23 years. John is hugely respected here at Allett and will be sincerely missed by colleagues and customers alike. We wish John every happiness in his retirement and he certainly deserves to enjoy it. Have a scotch or two on us buddy and enjoy the sunshine in Thailand. All the very best from the team at Allett.
