SUSTAINABILITY AT ALLETT MOWERS
Allett Mowers are keen to focus on sustainability as one of our main goals as we believe that every company has the power and ability to reduce their negative impacts on the environment and positively benefit their communities.
To improve upon our sustainability we are working on the Three-R’s, which are:
How can we reduce the resources we use?
From switching machines off when not in use, to choosing equipment which reduces energy consumption.
How can we reuse things to reduce our consumption?
We make sure that we sort our waste into the correct skips to be properly recycled rather than going to landfill.

Pledge to become carbon neutral by August 2022, through reduction of our carbon footprint and offsetting of the remaining carbon output.
As of 15th November 2023 we are thrilled to announce a significant milestone in our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. Allett's electricity at our Hixon based factory is now "Sunshine-Powered" thanks to our partnership with EDF. This means that 100% of the electricity we use to manufacture our petrol and battery electric cylinder mowers is sourced from renewable energy backed by UK REGOs or European GoOs and derived from a blend of eco-friendly sources including hydro, wind, solar, biomass and landfill gas.
