Allett 6 Blade Quick Change Cutting Cylinder
The QC cartridges have been replaced by RC versions. They are identical in size and function, with the only difference being added side brackets to support grassbag frames on newer models. These brackets can be removed with one screw each and replaced with rubber bungs to convert them back to QC.

Made of hardened and ground steel the 6 blade cylinder offers a super fine cut, which is sharp and clean.
Cylinder type mowers use a revolving cylinder made of several spiral blades. When these meet with the bottom blade as the cylinder rotates, it imitates a scissor-like cutting action which leaves the end of the blades of grass sharp and level. A clean-cut is less damaging to the grass plant and lessens the risk of disease forming.
