Allett Omnia Sorrel Roller Head

Improve surface aeration and support healthier root development with the Allett Omnia Sorrel Roller Head. Designed for use with the Omnia interchangeable head system, this attachment helps reduce minor soil compaction and improves the penetration of air, water and nutrients into the soil.

As the machine moves across the turf, the spiked roller rotates through contact with the ground, creating small openings in the surface. These shallow holes help air and moisture move into the upper soil layer, supporting better growing conditions for lawns and sports turf.

Adjustable working depth allows the operator to match the treatment to ground conditions, with a recommended depth of 12–25 mm below ground level. The roller is non-driven, so it does not require a powered rotation speed setting. Forward travel speed can be selected to suit the operator’s walking pace.

Used as part of a planned turf maintenance programme, the Sorrel Roller Head provides a practical way to carry out shallow aeration using the same Omnia drive unit used for mowing and other cultivation tasks.
