Allett Omnia Turf Rake Head

Remove moss and thatch with the Allett Omnia Turf Rake Head. Designed for use with the Omnia interchangeable head system, this powered attachment rakes through the turf to lift out unwanted material as part of a regular lawn and sports turf maintenance programme.

The rotating tines work through the grass, loosening and lifting moss and accumulated thatch. Regular use helps control thatch build-up and invasive species such as annual meadow grass, keeping unwanted material and growth in check.

Adjustable working height and variable rotation speed allow the operator to tailor the raking action to the turf and the task. The recommended working range is from 3 mm below ground level to 15 mm above ground level, with a recommended rotation speed of 1,000–1,500 rpm.

Forward speed also affects the amount of material removed, with slower travel producing a more intensive raking action. Working height and travel speed should be matched to ground conditions, reducing the depth or slowing down if the head is under excessive load.
