Allett Omnia Verticutter Head

Remove dense layers of thatch with the Allett Omnia Scarifier Head. Designed for use with the Omnia interchangeable head system, this powered attachment provides intensive scarification for lawn and sports turf renovation.

The rotating blades work through accumulated thatch, loosening and lifting material from the turf. Described in the operator manual as the most aggressive Omnia cultivation head, the Scarifier is designed for demanding thatch removal where a stronger action is required.

Adjustable working depth and variable blade speed allow the operator to match the treatment to ground conditions and the amount of material being removed. The recommended working depth is 6–10 mm below ground level, with a recommended blade speed of 1,000–1,500 rpm.

Forward speed also influences the intensity of the treatment, with slower travel removing more material. If the head is working under excessive load, reduce the working depth or forward speed to suit the conditions.
