Another Hands-On Evolution Essentials Session at Allett HQ
We were back in action this week with our second Evolution Essentials dealer training session—and what a productive day it was!
This time, we welcomed Jamie Starnes and Martin Hillier from Starnes Engineering, along with Andrew Reynolds and Derek Jones from Shropshire Mowers. It was great to have a mix of familiar and new faces in the workshop, ready to dive into another round of technical training led by our in-house expert, Ian Clayton.

The day was focused on one thing: giving our dealers the confidence and know-how to tackle real-life electric mower challenges. From diagnosing faults to carrying out repairs and understanding the finer details of our warranty process, the group got stuck into both theory and hands-on learning.
It’s not just about ticking boxes or handing out certificates—these sessions are designed to reflect the kind of situations our dealers face daily. Whether it’s a machine acting up mid-season or a customer needing a quick resolution, we want our network to feel equipped and ready. And with the rapid evolution (pun intended!) of battery tech, this kind of training has never been more important.

A big part of the day was also spent working through actual scenarios our customers might encounter. It’s one thing to read a manual—it’s another to pull apart a machine, troubleshoot an issue and fix it confidently, knowing you’ve got the technical backing to do so.
We're not here to gatekeep knowledge. We want our dealers to walk away with more than just information—we want them to leave feeling empowered.
Massive thanks again to everyone who attended. We love these sessions because they give us a chance to connect directly with the people representing our brand on the ground.

Until next time!
